Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park wants to establish itself as the premier centre for Blackfoot research. As part of this vision it has begun to build a library and archival repository for First Nations research material, specifically focusing on the Blackfoot people and culture.Drop in and check out its ever-growing collections of books, magazines archival materials, photos, and oral histories. Come study the Blackfoot Culture where the Blackfoot people have lived for thousands of years.

Come in with your families to enjoy a meal after touring Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park! Our restaurant is open year-round during regular museum business hours. Sample traditional fry bread or bannock (call to find out which one is being prepared on the day of your visit), or even a buffalo bannock burger. Stopping by early? Check out our breakfast items. Lunch pre-orders are available and catering service is available for any function booked here in our Conference Rooms. Please call us at 403-734-5171 for more information on pre-orders and choosing a catered meal for your conference booking.

Conference Centre

Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park also offers full conference services. Whether you would like it fully catered, to a coffee service, to just conference space. Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park can accommodate conferences of all shapes and sizes. We can host smaller groups as well as larger groups up to 150 people. Our Conference Facilities & Services can include: A main conference room, which can seat up to 200 people, classroom-style 3 small to average conference rooms, which can seat between 1-30 people per room. Conference equipment including: traditional white board, projector & screen, recording devices, TV/VCR/DVD, as well as a SMART board.Catering service from full service (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) to a coffee service and Guided centre tours Cultural Dance & Drum performances for conferences and meetings may also be available for a fee.
