We invite you to come out and explore our interactive exhibits at Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park an experience you will want to repeat! While you are visiting our web site, please explore our culture online which was made possible with the support of the Department of Canadian Heritage through Canadian Culture Online. We hope to engage you in our history, traditions, and way of life of Siksika Nation and its people. We encourage all people young and old, along with the new generation of Siksika nation to come and learn of our past, and help to retain and keep alive the proud heritage and legacy left to us by our ancestors. We hope to provide you cultural and educational information with accuracy about the rich and unique spiritual foundation and survival of our culture.


Chief Crowfoot

Step into the world of Chief Crowfoot, a renowned leader of the Siksika People and a signatory of the historic Blackfoot Treaty, (Treaty No.7). Discover the legacy of Chief Crowfoot, his wisdom, his leadership, and his resilient spirit that continues to inspire us. We are proud to display his personal belongings, repatriated from Exeter, England. These artifacts provide a tangible connection to our past. Join us at Blackfoot Crossing to explore the captivating history.


Miiksika’am (Red Crane) Theatre

Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park is pleased to offer an introductory video in its theatre. Shows run throughout the day. Blackfoot Crossing’s Miiksika’am Theatre space is also available for rent to various groups. From theatre rehearsal space to conference functions, we can accommodate up to 100 spectators/participants.
